Mechanical Engineer

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (Government Contract) Location: National Capital Region (NCR) Responsibilities Assist with design and development of engineering solutions to meet unique and complex customer requirements. Assemble and produce multi-part systems in quantity to support project tasks and objectives. Manage inventory of components required for production tasks. Create, document, and communicate assembly processes and procedures. Travel up to 10% of the time. Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI with polygraph. Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical, Aerospace, Material Science, Industrial Engineering (or equivalent) with at least 12 years of relevant experience, or Master's with at least 10 years. Additional work experience may be used in lieu of degree/combined with education. Experience producing full system assemblies or subassemblies. CAD experience; SolidWorks preferred. CAM experience and ability to operate CNC machines. Experience with 3D printing applications. Experience applying adhesives and painting components. Strong teamwork and individual contributor skills. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, adapt quickly to changing requirements. Microsoft Office proficiency. Desired Qualifications Proficiency with FeatureCAM and Mastercam. Knowledge of metal finishing processes including anodizing, painting, powder coating. Knowledge of injection molding techniques. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop. Pay and Benefits Pay Range: $131,300.00 – $237,350.00 (general guideline).
