It is the expectation that every team member, front or back of house, should proactively seek out opportunities to greet guests and their fellow team members daily. EGE policy states teams members should: acknowledge guests and fellow team members within 10 feet; initiate friendly verbal greeting within 5 feet; keep your head up, look around (head on a swivel); look for opportunities to greet guests and others; please remember that when you are on the floor, you are on stage./liliTeam members will participate in all mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions./liliPatrols all sections of the property to identify safety hazards and breaks in security./liliProvides assistance to civil and law enforcement authorities including testimony in court and other administrative hearings./liliAssists guests with all lost and found requests./liliEnforces all company policies and procedures./liliComply with policies regarding attendance guidelines, all regulatory guidelines, departmental policies and procedures, and company policies./liliAssists injured guests and applies first aid as necessary until professional help arrives./liliChecks identification of guests to ensure that only those 21 years of age and older are in the gaming areas, bars, and venues./liliEscorts employees with assets and sensitive keys./liliMonitors and observes the casino, parking lots, and all casino property areas for disturbances, crime, fire hazards, and undesirable people and then reports these issues to a Security Supervisor./liliCompletes written reports as assigned./liliCarries chips and paperwork to and from the Table Games and Cashier areas./liliObserves and verifies slot drop transactions./liliWorks a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays./liliWorks a reasonable amount of overtime when required./liliMust be able to respond to visual and aural cues./liliMust present a well-groomed, professional appearance./liliMeets the attendance guidelines of the job and comply with all state, federal and regulatory policies and procedures./liliMust be able to work a varied schedule including holidays, nights and weekends as needed./liliMust be able to work a reasonable amount of overtime when required./liliPerform other duties as assigned./li/ulpPhysical, Mental Environmental Demands:/pulliMust be able to work and stand inside and outside, sometimes in heat in excess of 115 degrees or cold as low as 10 degrees./liliMust be able to physically restrain adults who weigh more than 200 pounds./liliMust be able to respond calmly in crisis and stressful situations./liliMust be able to work independently./liliMust be able to stoop, bend, jump, twist, crouch, grip, carry heavy loads, and maneuver quickly on level surfaces, as well as up and down stairs./liliMust be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds./liliMust be able to push or pull up to 150 pounds./liliMust be able to make rational decisions when handling guest and employee issues./liliMust be able to see and remember the specific details of incidents and persons./liliMust be able to give court testimony when necessary and write detailed reports./liliMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand English./liliMust be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust./li/ulpHarrahs reserves the right to make changes to this job description whenever necessary.
