Mailroom Packaging AssociateThe Mailroom Packaging Associate controls general operation of the mailroom, assisting tenants by organizing packages and communicating their arrival for tenant pick-up while maintaining a safe and clean environment throughout the dock and back area facilities.Primary Responsibilities:Mail Room Operations, Client Relationship Building, Administration, debriefing with Logistics Manager on overall operations, challenges, identifying trends and any tenant feedback.Daily processing and sorting, pickup and delivery of all inbound and outbound packages.Reconcile and account for all incoming and outgoing packagesAct as the direct liaison with all mail support service vendors (i.e., postage vendors, FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.)Complete understanding role in the mail room and its responsibilitiesProactively develop and maintain tenant relationships and provide excellent service while assisting Logistics Manager with details and data on performance reporting as reflected by tenant feedback ensuring that expected service levels are achievedComply with all requirements and meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Support the day-to-day delivery of package services for ERC in accordance with all agreed policies and proceduresIdentify opportunities for improved operational standards to drive efficiencies (process and cost) and make recommendations to the assistant/facility manager for considerationSeek ways to constantly reduce costs and improve operational standardsActively support an environment of teamwork, co-operation, performance excellence and personal successDesired Qualifications:A minimum of 2 years warehouse or mail room experience is requiredExcellent administrative, organizational, follow-up, inventory tracking and problem-solving skills and practical day-to-day operational proficiencyStrong abilities in a range of information technology tools and platformsExcellent oral and written communication skills, as well as attention to detailSuperior customer service skills, and ability to always maintain professionalism under stressful situationsAbility to plan and manage work under time constraints and multitask and work without direct supervisionAbility to promote positivity and create team building opportunitiesPhysical Job Requirements:Must be able to lift approximately 20 lbs., or more if required by the essential functions of the jobMust be able to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures, and Code of ConductMust be able to interact well with othersMust be able to work independently, or in a team settingMust be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple prioritiesResponds well to questions; Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlineOutdoor weather-related demands – Open air dock areasLong periods of time spent on feetRequires boarding truckAmerican Dream is an equal-opportunity employer and is committed to providing a workplace free from harassment or discrimination.
