Budget Analyst
Position Description
Major duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Conducts limited studies and analyses to develop required data and information for reporting purposes; and prepares administrative reports.
- Prepares documents needed to process budget estimates. Writes reports that detail the purposes for which funds were obligated and expended.
- Performs analyses of budget requests, prepares justification statements, and compiles data to be used for forecasting obligations.
- Reviews, edits, and consolidates annual budget estimates for assigned organizations and programs into a single budget request.
- Identifies and analyzes trends in the receipt, obligation, or expenditure of funds to ensure that objectives of the annual financial plan are being met on a timely basis; and that funds are available and being properly and effectively used to support program objectives.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
