Neuroimaging Data Analyst

The Neuroimaging Data Analyst will manage biometric data collected over multiple years from a large population. Analyst will work with a team of researchers and software developers to support organizing, cleaning, analyzing MRI data, and assisting in the preparation of reports documenting the results of MR image analysis for customers. As a member of the team, the Analyst will: Ensure the completeness of MRI imaging datasets and communicate with participating sites to resolve any dataset issues or discrepancies. Develop workflows for MRI data cleaning and checking data integrity, with the goal of correcting any errors, inconsistencies, or missing data needed for analyses. Organize, support, and maintain large databases of MRI data and relevant metadata. Check appropriate MRI image analysis parameters, integrate MRI datasets, and execute image analysis workflows. Perform quality checks of MRI imaging datasets and workflow outputs after several steps in the analysis pipeline. Document errors in the image processing steps and generated outputs. Prepare and share workflow results. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (completed or pursuing) in a field related to computer science, statistics, mathematics, electrical engineering, computational biology, or neuroscience. 1+ years of related experience. Experience with MRI neuroimaging data formats and image analysis (useful but not required). Demonstrated proficiency in Unix shell scripting, Python programming, and git version control (useful but not required). Experience with data management. Organizational and efficiency skills, including planning and decision-making abilities to complete tasks in a timely manner, attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Strong background creating scientific figures and writing technical scientific reports.
