Grinder/Shop Labor (2nd shift $26.15/hr)

Job Description

The candidate will perform hand grinding on metal for airplane hinges, contributing to the production of essential components for aircraft doors.

Responsibilities

• Hand grinding/deburring aerospace parts
• Inspect metal components to ensure quality standards are met.
• Use hand tools, such as wrenches and calipers, efficiently.
• Perform hand grinding using a hand grinder.
• Assist in general production activities within the machine shop.

Essential Skills

• Experience in machine operation and inspection.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, including wrenches and calipers.
• Skill in grinding and using a hand grinder.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• General production experience in a machine shop preferred.
• Understanding of ITAR regulations.
• Spanish/bilingual capabilities.

Work Environment

Work in a small machine aerospace shop environment, specializing in hinges for aircraft doors. The setting is collaborative and focused on precision manufacturing.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce, CA.

The pay range for this position is $24.15 - $24.15/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
