CLO Finance Associate Attorney

Location: New York (Open to other U.S. office locations including Charlotte, Chicago, D.C., Houston, Los Angeles, Palo Alto, San Francisco, Salt Lake City)

Direct Counsel is seeking an Associate with 3 to 5 years of experience to join a prestigious Am Law 100 firm in their CLO Finance practice. The successful candidate will have experience in collateralized loan obligations (CLOs) and related structured finance transactions. • Handle CLO and related structured finance transactions.

• Work on securitizations , warehouse financing , and other complex financing structures.

• Advise clients on sophisticated financing deals, ensuring compliance and best practices.

• Collaborate with partners and other team members in the Banking & Finance practice group to manage large, complex transactions.

• Education: J.D. from a top-tier law school.

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in CLOs , structured finance , and securitization .

• Skills: Strong academic credentials, with excellent legal research, writing, and communication skills. Experience in CLO finance and complex financing transactions is required.

• Salary Range: $260,000 – $365,000 (compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and firm policies).
