Saint Alphonsus Health System is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Surgical Trauma (NeST) ICU team at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise Idaho .

This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd.

What to expect :

• Utilizing your skills in a Level II Trauma Center and a Level I Comprehensive Stroke Center

• Obtaining experience working in the FIRST and ONLY Neuro Surgical Trauma Unit in Idaho

• Working withthe only board certified fellowship- trained neuro critical care doctors in the state

• Caring for patients with neurological surgical or traumatic injury/illness that require intensive level care. This can range from a patient suffering from a multi trauma after a car accident a spinal cord injury patient after a skiing injury a patient with a spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage a patient with new onset undiagnosed seizures or a patient with a stroke.

• Being part of a unit that consists of 18 critical care beds

• Providing next level care for patients in a state-of-the-art unit with the newest and most advanced technology and equipment

Qualifications:

• Idaho or multistate RN license (must establish Idaho residency within 6 months if applicable).
• BLS certification; ACLS and PALS required within designated timelines.
• Critical care experience preferred
