Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients according to physician orders, including assessment, treatment, and ongoing monitoring.
- Administer inhaled medications and airway clearance therapies; adjust therapy based on patient response and protocol.
- Manage and optimize ventilator support, including ventilator settings, modes, weaning, and weaning readiness as directed.
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and analysis when indicated; interpret results and communicate implications to the care team.
- document care activities accurately; collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other disciplines to support patient-centered outcomes; ensure patient safety and infection control compliance.

Requirements
- Active Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through NBRC; Georgia Composite Medical Board license to practice as an RRT
- AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy within a relevant specialty
- Travel assignment eligibility; must be able to work 12-hour night shifts; local candidates within 50 miles will not be considered
