What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in a medical-surgical setting
• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Delegate tasks and supervise licensed and ancillary staff
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and standards
• Educate patients and families to promote understanding and health management
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
• Embrace best practices to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes

What You Need

• Current Louisiana RN license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 2 years' recent medical-surgical nursing experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Proficiency in using healthcare-related computer software and applications
• Good judgment and interpersonal skills
