Salary: $25 - $27/hour KITCHEN MANAGER | HIRING IMMEDIATELYAffordable On-site Housing Available! Looking to take the lead in a fast-paced kitchen while enjoying a unique and beautiful environment? Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Kitchen Manager to oversee daily operations in a busy kitchen. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a leadership role and enjoys working in a dynamic, hospitality-driven setting. Position Summary
The Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing all back-of-house operations, ensuring food quality, maintaining safety standards, and leading a team to deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests. Starting wages are $25 - $27/hour and based on experience. Work schedule is afternoons, Thursday through Sunday. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff during all shifts
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Maintain compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost control
- Train, mentor, and schedule kitchen team members
- Oversee kitchen cleanliness, organization, and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
- Step in to assist with cooking and prep as needed
- ServSafe Certification required
- Culinary Degree preferred
- Previous kitchen management or leadership experience
- Strong background working in a commercial kitchen
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices
- Ability to lead a team and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and long shifts as needed
