?Set up exam rooms; greet clients.
?Reviews patient charts, checks patients in, obtains and records patients' weight, blood pressure, urine samples, blood samples, and medical history, and assesses reasons for patient visits; obtain parents' signatures as necessary. Observe patient condition; record patients' immunizations; administer hearing tests, vision tests, and other pre-examinations as necessary;
?Records and reports observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in the patients' conditions.
?Assists doctors and Nurse Practitioners with examinations, treatments, special tests, and procedures.
?Transports patients to and from vehicles via wheelchairs.
?Assist doctors with examinations of female patients; chaperone male physicians during pelvic and breast examinations; prepare and label slides; spray and bag slides upon completion.
?Clean examination rooms upon completion of exam; sterilize equipment; re-stock with supplies as necessary.
?Take blood pressures; prepare related paperwork; distribute informative health pamphlets and brochures.
?Conducts weekly chart audits, minimum of 10.
?Documents QI indicators in E-Clinical.
?Assist with patients; follow-up by telephone; ensure they are keeping their appointments; respond to and resolve related medical inquiries.
?Assist with Family Planning; take patient histories; assist doctors with examinations.
?Follow up with patients, by telephone and visits, to ensure that patients have seen a doctor and have received the necessary treatments; record the patients' response regarding the doctor they have seen and the treatments they have received.
?Performs daily lab controls.
?Act as patient advocate; advise patients on available and appropriate medical and social services; assist as necessary.
?Assist in the maintenance and referral of patient care records; track patients to inform them of test and exam results; ensure that they return for follow up testing or treatments as necessary; maintain confidentiality.
?Assist with the supply room; order necessary and requested supplies; stock shelves after supplies have been received; prepare supply boxes to be used within the facility.
?Processes lab results daily and assigns abnormal values to providers. Normal values are time stamped and assigned as reviewed in patient documents of E-Clinical.
?Perform a variety of routine clerical work; answer telephones and make appointments; prepare patient receipts and receive money; file lab reports within the proper charts.
?Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
