Registered Nurse - Long Term Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, every other weekend, 8-hour shifts

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care in a long-term care setting. The RN will be responsible for managing patient care for residents with various needs, including skilled care and dementia support. Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team will be essential in delivering high-quality care tailored to each resident's needs.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Conduct assessments and perform necessary documentation.
• Participate in care planning and implementation for individual patients.
• Provide education and support to residents and their families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Maine.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care.
• IV certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
