Surgical Technologists : South Clinical OR -40hrs/week, DAYS

Overview Department/Unit: SCC Operating Room Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $49,763.00 - $69,668.00 Surgical Technologists are allied health professionals who form an integral part of the team of practitioners providing surgical care to patients. They work under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) and a surgeon to facilitate surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that patient safety is maintained. The surgical technologist handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure, understands the procedure and anticipates the surgeon’s needs, and remains vigilant for maintenance of the sterile field.
