BMS Controls + Low Voltage Electrical Apprentice/Helper
Vanguard Maintenance and Electrical, Inc.
We are an electrical company operating in NYC and Texas, specializing in low‑voltage BMS installations. We do not perform normal electrical work such as power and lighting. We are seeking hardworking, motivated individuals who want to learn the electrical trade. Qualifications 3+ years of electrical work (preferably low‑voltage BMS installations) Strong communication and time‑management skills Detail‑oriented, responsible, and a team player Willing to learn and grow with the company Willing to travel within the city and surrounding areas 40 SST or above Technical Skills & Responsibilities Knowledge of BMS control system installation Knowledge of additional low‑voltage systems is a plus (e.g., fire alarm, access control, AV, Telecom/Data) Installation of 3/4" & 1" conduit and ability to bend conduit with a hand bender Roughing in low‑voltage cabling Terminating low‑voltage cabling in control panels Daily/weekly check‑ins to monitor project status with foreman Physical Demands Climbing stairs and ladders, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs Carrying, pushing, and pulling equipment and materials Exposure to sun, heat, cold, and rain Job Type: Full‑time #J-18808-Ljbffr
