Job Overview:

Pay Range: $12.75hr - $17.75hr

Requirement/Must Have:

Ability to handle patients with care and compassion while assisting with check ins in the lobby through either a self-service kiosk or handheld tablet.
Willingness to work both in the lobby and in a draw room with patients to help with coverage for breaks.
Ability to perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
High level of customer service experience and skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Phlebotomy experience, including internship or externship experience.
Minimum of 1-2 years of client-facing customer service experience (e.g., Retail, Home Health Aide).
Keyboard and data entry experience.

Responsibilities:

Assist with patient care by greeting patients upon arrival and addressing questions or concerns with care and compassion.
Maintain the integrity of the waiting area and lobby environment.
Assist with coverage for breaks when other staff members are unavailable.
Utilize phlebotomy skills to support clinical operations.
Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients in a safe and accurate manner.
Demonstrate excellence in customer care with sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
Maintain a safe and professional environment.
Maintain required records and documentation.
Promote a positive image to patients, the public, and the organization while demonstrating a willingness to learn new skills.
Help patients check in at the kiosk and ensure comfort while waiting for laboratory services.
