We actively cultivate an inclusive, supportive environment for our staff, our clients, and the diverse families we serve.\n\nPosition Overview\nWe are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) with a strong focus on pediatric developmental therapy to join our dynamic team.\n\nIn this role, you will assess patients, complete treatment plans, and coordinate directly with families and physicians to deliver relationship-focused care.\n\nKey Responsibilities & Clinical Duties\n\n Clinical Service Delivery: Provide pediatric occupational therapy across clinic, home, community, and telehealth-supported environments. Address participation in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), and all life and family contexts. The provider will evaluate the client for participation concerns and provide intervention for developmental skills (motor, sensory processing, self-regulation, executive functioning, visual-motor development). Service delivery can also include family coaching or coordinating with other providers. Typical areas of participation difficulty include toileting, dressing, grooming, self-feeding, self management, and social participation.\n Evaluations & Screenings: Conduct thorough evaluations and screenings. Independently evaluate the functional ability of patients through standardized and non-standardized measures. Document findings efficiently and effectively communicate results to families or stakeholders.\n Create individualized treatment plans: Create strengths-based care plans aligned with child and family goals.\n Therapeutic Relationship & Environment: Establish safe, welcoming, and empowering spaces where trust, playful connection, and relationship-centered care guide every session.\n Collaboration & Care Coordination: Coordinate care with caregivers, educators, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams when requested.\n Parent Coaching & Engagement: Deliver practical home strategies and caregiver coaching to enhance functional participation in daily life.\n Documentation & Compliance: Maintain patient records, documentation, and appropriate billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy to ensure excellent standard of care. Complete billing logs for accurate reimbursement.\n Fulfill necessary onboarding: credentialing, licensing, and ongoing professional development requirements\n\n\nQualifications & Requirements\n\n Education: Master’s Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.\n Licensure: Valid Washington State Occupational Therapist license (verifiable via WA Dept of Health)\n National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)\n Current CPR Certification\n Ability to pass a criminal background check\n Required to maintain individual professional liability policy\n\n\nRequired Experience: \n\n At least 1+ years experience as a pediatric Occupational Therapist in a clinical or school setting, Experience working with persons with Autism or other complex developmental challenges between the ages of 3-21:\n Experience in developmental and neuroscience-based approaches to build skills and promote access and inclusion for neurodivergent clients, including Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Trauma, Developmental Delays, brain injuries, learning disabilities, and other developmental or acquired disabilities\n Strong interpersonal, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills, with a professional, positive, and cooperative approach.\n Proven ability to build meaningful rapport with clients, parents, and team members, including parent coaching and caregiver consultation.\n Demonstrated success working independently and applying critical thinking skills in work contexts.\n Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize duties and accomplish clinical goals efficiently.\n Reliable transportation for travel to/from worksite\n\nPreferred Experience\n\n Certified in Ayres Sensory Integration® - trained to administer the EASI standardized assessment and provide sensory integration intervention\n Basic DIR Floortime Trained\n Familiarity with interoception curriculum\n Motivational interviewing\n Ability to facilitate therapeutic groups\n Spanish-bilingual clinicians are strongly encouraged to apply\n Experience supporting teens and young adults with transition to adulthood\n\n\nAdditional qualifications that would make the best candidate\nDemeanor: Compassionate, inclusive, patient, and empathetic demeanor with families.\nSkills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to teach and collaborate with families.\n\nBenefits & Compensation\n\n Competitive Hourly Pay: $48-$60 depending on experience\n Benefits Package: Paid Time Off, Paid Administrative Time\n\nWhy You'll Love Working With Us\n\n Flexible & Predictable Scheduling: Enjoy a mutually agreed-upon schedule designed to promote work-life balance.\n Client-Centered Focus: Deliver true individualized therapy tailored to each child's unique needs, without cookie-cutter constraints.\n Dedicated Administrative Time: Built-in non-client contact hours to ensure sufficient time for documentation and session planning.\n Collaborative Culture: Thrive in a supportive, friendly team environment where clinical expertise is respected and valued.
