We are tendering for the construction supervision of Road and Infrastructure works in Oklahoma. These projects comprise of roadway and structural/bridge improvements in urban and rural settings.As a Resident Engineer (Transportation), you will involve extensive interface management with stakeholders and contractors. You will provide oversight of the construction process to ensure that the construction project is safely and accurately implemented on site adhering to the requirements of the construction contract and permitting requirements.You will lead a team in monitoring the progress of construction project and advising steps to ensure the project goals are achieved. You will have the opportunity to manage and direct a team of support staff and site Inspectors for the supervision of the project. You will report on progress, safety, financial projections, quality control and changes in the contract work. You will develop a trusted relationship with the project team, contractor and with the client’s staff. You will place an emphasis on safe construction practices (Beyond Zero) and on maintaining a high quality of construction. Lead by example and oversee safe practices on site.You will report to the Manager of Projects and supervise the project team (inspectors, office engineers etc.). You will interface and work daily with the client’s team, project stakeholders and contractor. Here's what you'll need Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.10+ years of experience as a Resident Engineer, Project Manager or Construction Manager in an Engineering, Environmental or Construction organizationProven experience within large transportation projects in the State of Oklahoma.Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship.Valid Drivers license and good driving historyIdeally You Will Have:Professional Engineer (PE) license in OklahomaODOT/OTA experienceKnowledge/experience with AASHTOWare Project (AWP)#WestPMCM#LI-CS1Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
