For more information, please visit haydon.com. Summary Individual will be responsible for supporting the overall administrative requirements of the Pre-Construction department. Essential Job Functions Overall duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Bid documents / proposal preparation Maintain Bidding software Building Connected Create bid invites and all trade partners Distribution of amendments and associated documents Contacting trade partners Assisting Estimators on bidding projects, setting up buyout Assisting of processing of pre-qualification applications of new trade partners Processing of Owner prequals Ordering of bid-bonds/ Performance and Payment bonds / Permit bonds Owner contract compliance reviews Processing of any AIA or Consensus Owner contract documents and distribute Ordering all insurance certs for all jobs, permits, OCIPS etc. Maintenance of tracking logs for precon Set-up of estimating and project folders Process Owner precon Pay applications Create Open projects in Viewpoint Enter budgets / estimates /Change orders in Viewpoint Enter vendors in Viewpoint Create new projects in Procore and document control Process all subcontracts and purchase orders for Building division and special projects Attendance at various trade events (local) Attendance at site-visits, pre-bid meetings, and kick-off meetings Coordination and scheduling of meetings, appointments, and events. Set up team building events for precon department Maintain procedures for precon coordinators Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 1+ years related experience in construction industry, or an acceptable combination of education and experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook; working knowledge of Viewpoint or ability to quickly learn is a plus Strong analytical, planning, problem solving and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to build relationships and work effectively with a team. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture.
