Posting Summary Posting Number Posting Number S00628P Position Title Position Title Registration Assistant Position Type Position Type Hourly Department Department Retention and Student Engagement ESSENTIAL FUNCTION : The Registration Assistant will support the daily functions of the Welcome Center. The position processes registration requests and other enrollment related activities, including withdrawals, restrictions, and more. Qualifications EDUCATION : High School Diploma or GED EXPERIENCE : Minimum of 6 months experience in clerical or customer service work. KNOWLEDGE : Efficient and proficient utilization of office equipment including personal computer; MS Office Software programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and database management systems. SKILLS : Ability to work effectively with students, faculty and community members to support a smooth transition for new students and current students into the college community; ability to utilize computer software and assessment programs and knowledge of federal ADA requirements. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service as identified in the college's performance standards. Process student registration and other enrollment related- requests. Process and manage application of student residency and privacy information related tasks. Provide information to students and guests as necessary. File and scan documents in a timely manner. Must be willing to work a minimum of 2 nights Monday – Thursday until 6pm and Friday until 4pm. Saturday availability may be requested during periods of peak registration. Other duties as assigned.
