Note: This role requires at least 3 years of experience as an attorney and at least 1 year of defense side employment litigation experience representing employers or management. Job Description Represent employers and management in employment litigation matters. Handle cases involving a broad range of labor and employment law issues. Manage litigation matters through discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and other stages of the litigation process. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents. Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies. Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings and court appearances. Work directly with clients to understand business objectives and provide practical legal guidance. Collaborate with experienced attorneys and contribute to successful case outcomes. Take increasing ownership of matters as your experience and capabilities grow. Qualifications 3+ years of experience practicing as an attorney. 1+ year of defense side employment litigation experience. Experience representing employers, management, or other management side clients in employment matters. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills. Experience with discovery, motion practice, depositions, and general litigation procedures. Ability to manage multiple matters and work effectively in a collaborative legal environment. Active California Bar membership is required.
