PASSENGER SERVICE AGENT (JFK Airport)

Starting Pay: $21.25 - $21.50/hr.

 

JOB DUTIES:

• Greet passengers and provide customer service throughout the travel experience

• Assist passengers with check-in, boarding passes, and seat assignments

• Process baggage, including weighing, tagging, and coordinating loading and unloading activities

• Communicate with passengers to provide travel information and assistance

• Ensure compliance with airline and aviation security procedures

• Coordinate boarding activities and assist with on-time departures

• Respond to passenger inquiries and resolve customer service concerns

• Maintain accurate passenger records using reservation and passenger management systems

• Follow company, airline, and airport operational procedures

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Customer service experience in the airline, travel, hospitality, or related industry preferred

• Supervisory or management experience preferred

• Ability to communicate in English

• Familiarity with reservation systems and computer applications

• Knowledge of airline or aviation industry procedures preferred

• Ability to safely lift and handle baggage and other materials

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to handle challenging situations professionally

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Proficiency with computer systems for passenger processing and data entry

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Multilingual skills, including Cantonese and/or Putonghua, preferred but not required.
