Candidates with a Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree, internship experience, or prior field experience are encouraged to apply.Responsibilities:Assist with field surveying using GPS equipment, total stations, and data collectorsSupport boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction staking surveysCollect and document accurate field data and measurementsHelp operate and maintain survey equipmentWork alongside Crew Chiefs and project teams in the fieldPerform outdoor work in various weather and terrain conditionsQualifications:1+ years of surveying experience preferredEntry-level candidates with a relevant degree, coursework, or internship experience will be consideredInterest in land surveying and construction layoutStrong communication and teamwork skillsValid driver's licenseAbility to work outdoors and lift survey equipmentPreferred:AutoCAD or Civil 3D experienceConstruction staking experiencePrevious experience as a Survey Technician, Survey Crew Member, Instrument Person, or related roleWork Environment: Full-time, onsite position based in Clinton Township. Primarily field-based work supporting residential, commercial, and public infrastructure projects throughout Southeast Michigan, with opportunities to learn drafting and survey data processing.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Clemens, MI.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
