Inside Sales Representative - Bohemia, NY
Dayton T. Brown, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Representative to join our growing team at our corporate headquarters in Bohemia, NY. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Sales and Business Development within a dynamic and supportive environment.
As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in supporting our Business Development Managers (BDMs) and learning the full sales life cycle-from prospecting and quoting to customer engagement and closing. This position offers strong potential for professional growth into a Business Development Manager role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist the BDM team with day-to-day sales operations
- Respond to and field incoming customer inquiries and calls
- Follow up on quotes and track customer feedback
- Schedule and coordinate customer visits and on-site tours
- Support trade show and conference preparations
- Maintain and update ERP and CRM systems to ensure all activities and communications are properly documented
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments (Marketing, Engineering, Contracts, etc.)
The ideal candidate will need:
- Minimum 2+ yr. associate's degree
- 2+ yrs. experience in an inside sale and/or in a sales support role
- Experience within a technical environment, a plus
- Eager and willing to develop and learn the skills of the sales department, through attending formal training and being mentored by the experienced business development Team
- Technical background is a PLUS
