Job Description

The X-Ray Technician will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including general X-ray, fluoroscopy, and bedside/portable imaging. The focus will be on adult outpatient and acute care imaging, ensuring high-quality images while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Assist in positioning patients for X-rays and ensure proper image capture.
• Maintain and operate PACS imaging systems effectively.
• Implement isolation precautions and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of recent X-Ray Technician experience.
• Certifications: ARRT (R) and BLS (AHA) are required.
• Experience with PACS imaging systems preferred.
• Demonstrated competencies in required anatomy and orthopedic imaging.
