School Program Coordinator

What You’ll Do: School Program Support: Assist with opening and closing procedures, manage daily operations, support the Executive School Director in school management, assist teachers in maintaining classroom and playground equipment, enforce all safety rules, build and maintain positive relationships with parents and families. Classroom and Team Member Support: Provide additional classroom support as needed, assist teachers and team members to ensure quality programming and a safe, productive environment, lead and teach children through all daily activities, ensuring they have an enjoyable, well‑rounded educational experience in the absence of teaching team members. Educational and Enrichment Program Oversight: Review lesson plans for curriculum alignment, manage and teach enrichment programs, foster a dynamic and engaging learning experience for children, handle vendor management for enrichment programs, assist teachers with curriculum planning and implementation based on classroom observations and child goals. Team Member Break Management: Supports team member break schedules, ensuring appropriate coverage and compliance with staffing ratios to maintain uninterrupted program quality (spends approximately 50% of time in classroom). Compliance and Licensing Standards: Support ED and AD in monitoring and ensuring adherence to state licensing standards, maintain required student‑to‑teacher ratios at all times. Qualifications Education: Meet state licensing requirements; Bachelor’s degree required. Prefer degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or related field. Experience: Minimum of two years in a licensed childcare setting with at least one year as a teacher or supervisor of a childcare program. Other: Valid driver’s license; eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: React quickly with sound judgment and problem‑solving skills in critical situations; love working with children; effective communication skills (face‑to‑face, verbal, written); strong organizational skills; maintain confidentiality; professional and positive relationships with parents and coworkers; strong understanding of licensing standards and ratios; ability to manage time efficiently, multi‑task, regular and reliable attendance. Physical Demands: Operate computer, phone and other office equipment; lift and carry children up to 60 pounds; perform essential functions including class observations.
