Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient plans of care, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and treatments while accurately documenting care, assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Conduct holistic ongoing patient assessments and evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness, educational needs, and necessary changes
• Educate patients, families, and significant others on relevant health information in a timely manner
• Collaborate and communicate with all members of the healthcare team; delegate appropriately to non-licensed assistive personnel and may float in rotation, including as a sitter

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license or Compact RN license required
• Active BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• Active TNCC certification required
• Must practice consistently within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards of practice

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Familiarity with evidence-based procedures and current clinical workflows in an intensive care setting
• Experience participating in performance improvement processes and quality initiatives
