PERM Human Resource Lead Specialist

The Human Resource Lead Specialist is responsible for leading and executing Milemarkers Therapy’s day-to-day human resources operations, employee relations, compliance, and workforce processes in alignment with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-focused, knowledgeable in employment law, and passionate about building strong teams and supporting leadership Key Responsibilities HR Operations & Compliance Maintain accurate, audit-ready employee records and HR documentation Ensure HRIS data integrity and employee data accuracy Support HR compliance initiatives, audits, and regulatory requirements Manage I-9 documentation, licensure tracking, certifications, and mandatory training records Employee Relations & Performance Management Advise managers on employee relations, performance concerns, and corrective action Lead and document employee investigations professionally and confidentially Support performance improvement plans (PIPs) and annual evaluations Promote consistent and compliant HR practices across departments Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Lead recruitment efforts from sourcing through hiring Coordinate onboarding processes and ensure timely completion of compliance requirements Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends to support retention initiatives Training & Workforce Planning Coordinate employee compliance training and continuing education requirements (CEUs) Assist with workforce planning and job description maintenance Partner with leadership to support staffing and organizational growth strategies Payroll & Benefits Coordination Ensure employee data is accurate and payroll-ready Support benefits administration, enrollments, and employee inquiries Coordinate status changes and maintain timely HR/payroll communication What Success Looks Like Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) HR Compliance 100% complete employee files 100% I-9 compliance Recruitment & Onboarding Average time-to-fill positions: 30 days or less 100% onboarding completion within 7 days 90-day employee retention rate of 90% or higher Employee Relations Manager response time within 1 business day (95%) Employee case resolution within 15 days (90%) HRIS & Payroll Accuracy 100% employee status changes completed within 2 days Training & Compliance 100% training completion rates Zero missed credential expirations Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance Experience with HRIS systems and employee data management Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Preferred SHRM-CP or PHR certification Previous healthcare or therapy practice HR experience #J-18808-Ljbffr TEEMA Solutions Group
