Responsibilities:

• Connect with prospective and existing clients to understand their health coverage needs.
• Explain Medicare plans, benefits, eligibility, and enrollment options in clear, accessible terms.
• Recommend suitable coverage options based on each client’s circumstances and preferences.
• Manage sales leads and follow up consistently to support enrollment and retention.
• Meet individual sales and service goals while maintaining a positive client experience.
• Maintain accurate client records and document sales and enrollment activity.
• Stay current on Medicare plan offerings, enrollment periods, and applicable regulations.
• Protect confidential client information and follow established compliance requirements.

Must-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of Medicare products, coverage options, and enrollment processes.
• Strong sales, prospecting, and client relationship-building skills.
• Ability to explain health benefits and plan details clearly and accurately.
• Excellent communication, listening, and customer service skills.
• Sound attention to detail when handling client information and enrollment documentation.
• Ability to work toward sales goals while following relevant compliance requirements.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Previous experience selling Medicare or health insurance products.
• Active health insurance producer license in Connecticut, or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience using CRM systems and managing a sales pipeline.
• Familiarity with Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and prescription drug plans.
• Experience supporting clients during Medicare enrollment periods.
