Assistant Planner

Oakley is looking for an Assistant Planner Buyer, Production to join its Planning & Buying team in Foothill Ranch, CA 92610 . Location: Foothill Ranch, CA Schedule: Monday – Friday | 4:30 AM – 1:00 PM Pay: $27.00 per hour Responsibilities CLose to the are in Foothill Ranch, CA 92610 (On-site) Plan and procure material requirements for multiple eyewear product categories. Support Production Planners in developing and executing production plans that maintain optimal inventory levels. Coordinate material planning for new product launches to ensure timely material availability. Monitor supplier performance and expedite orders when necessary to minimize production delays. Maintain accurate planning and purchasing data within SAP. Collaborate with manufacturing teams, planners, and suppliers to support production schedules. Analyze inventory and material requirements to support continuous production. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in production planning, purchasing, or materials planning. Experience using SAP MM, PP, and/or BW. Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Office. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
