We are a well established, leading distribution center seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Lead to join our distribution team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of orders, shipments, and materials through visual inspections and scanning processes. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, previous quality control experience, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards. Mandatory overtime is required based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform visual inspections of orders, shipments, and materials to ensure accuracy and quality Scan products and shipments to verify order correctness and inventory movement Identify, document, and report discrepancies, damages, and quality issues Ensure all outgoing and incoming orders, products, and materials meet company standards Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to resolve errors quickly. Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions help enforce quality control procedures and best practices throughout the distribution process, support team productivity while maintaining a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Assist with training team members on quality standards and procedures as needed Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of previous quality control experience in a distribution, warehouse, or logistics environment requires strong attention to detail; accuracy is critical in this role Experience with scanning systems, inventory systems, or RF scanners preferred Ability to visually inspect materials and shipments quickly and accurately, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks, good communication and teamwork skills, and the flexibility to work mandatory overtime as needed

Compensation:

Starting pay: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, based on experience; pay increases based on success

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift. Ability to work in a warehouse/distribution environment for extended periods. Ability to handle repetitive tasks.

Qualified candidate for this position will have verifiable work history in similary work environment to meet every requirement below, sharing their experience with each tasks and how they performed:  

o   Accurately and efficiently perform various warehouse activities, including but not limited to moving, checking, and packing out warehouse inventory

o   Verify order accuracy by visual checks and scanning procedures

o   Perform quality control checks when requested by supervisor

o   Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through inventory control procedures

o   Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment

o   Perform work associated with warehousing, material handling, and other related duties as assigned

o   Previous warehouse or distribution center successful work history

o   Ability to read, write and communicate in English

o   Must be able to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

o   Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers

o   Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for a minimum of 8 hrs
