POSITION TITLE: Revenue Cycle Specialist

CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

SUMMARY: The Revenue Cycle Specialist (RCS) works as part of the Revenue Cycle department to ensure daily patient billing operations are completed in a effective and timely manner. This role involves managing the posting, processing, and submission of the company’s third-party medical claims to payors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent; AA Degree in related field, preferred.
• A minimum of two (2) year of medical billing and terminology experience; preferably in a Community Health Center setting.
• Computer literate and proficient in Word and Excel
• Must demonstrate strong multi-tasking, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
• Organized and structured
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• The ability to communicate effectively in person and on the telephone with other staff, public, the patients and the medical staff of the Community Health Center(s).
