Staff Pharmacist (Mail-Order) - Southgate, KY

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Location: Southgate, Kentucky
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire (possible Direct Hire)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: Competitive hourly compensation based on experience

We are seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a growing mail-order pharmacy in Southgate, Kentucky. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacist looking to join a high-volume, closed-door pharmacy environment, with potential for direct hire.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, with rotating start times between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
Rotating Saturday shifts, scheduled in advance.
Must be flexible with shift start times based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Review and verify prescriptions in a high-volume fulfillment environment.
Ensure medication accuracy, safety, and compliance with pharmacy procedures.
Oversee pharmacy technicians and verify their work.
Assist with provider and patient calls as needed.
Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain efficient workflow and productivity.

Qualifications

Active Kentucky Pharmacist License required.
Previous mail-order pharmacy experience strongly preferred.
Retail pharmacy experience welcome.
Ability to adapt quickly to high-volume workflows.
Strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work rotating start times and scheduled Saturdays.
