Local Contract Interventional Radiology Technologist - $71 per hour

Job Summary American Traveler seeks a local contract Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in High Point, North Carolina. Start Date: June 8, 2026. Shift: 4×10‑hour days (0700–1730) or 5×8‑hour days (0800–1630). 40 hours per week. Local contract assignment. Assignment Details Location: Radiology – Special Studies department at a 351‑bed teaching hospital. Patient volume: ~15 patients per day. Procedures: Venous (dialysis lines, ports, TIPS, IVC, SVC), Body (complex embolizations, thrombectomy, thrombolysis, sclerotherapy, Y90s/SIR‑Spheres, biopsies, drainage, and access). Team: 1 provider, 4 APPs, 2 techs per room with RN. EMR: Epic Encompass; equipment includes Siemens imaging systems, Sonosite Ultrasound, Baxter IV pumps, and Omnicell medication dispensing. Schedule: 4×10‑hour day shifts or 5×8‑hour day shifts on a 4–6 week cycle. No weekend rotation except call; on‑call 3–4 days per month plus weekend call every 5th–6th weekend from Friday through Monday at 0800. 75% of holidays expected. No floating required. Requirements Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience, most recent within the last year. Active ARRT‑R or RCIS certification. BLS and ACLS certification. Active state license if required. Proficiency in scrubbing, assisting in IR procedures, circulating, operating imaging equipment, and managing procedural supplies. Experience with Epic EMR preferred. Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted). Additional Information First‑time travelers welcome. Orientation includes facility new employee orientation plus 2 days of department‑specific training. RTO requests approved by manager. Former AHSE permanent staff must separate for at least 1 year.
