We pride ourselves in serving the world by making food people love!What We Have to Offer15 days (120 hours) of vacation annually and 11 paid holidaysOpportunity to earn 12 additional Paid Days OffGreat paid time off benefits401(k) matchHealth Insurance- Including medical, vision, dental and lifeAnd much more!Your Work Schedule and Shift InformationCurrently hiring for 2nd and 3rd shifts8-hour shifts2nd shift: 2:50 pm to 11:20 pm3rd shift: 10:50 pm to 7:20 amAbility and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends and holidaysPlant operation is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.Key ResponsibilitiesAs part of our manufacturing team, you will:Installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing industrial processing and packaging machinery, work tools and equipmentIdentifying and troubleshooting mechanical issuesProviding technical support and plant leadership for equipment troubleshooting and equipment modificationsUnderstanding, initiating, and participating in Root Cause Analysis (Why, Why)Performing both uptime and downtime preventative maintenanceParticipate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performanceAssist in training new employeesMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED1 year of experience in a manufacturing maintenance in industrial maintenance or a technical degree in industrial maintenance or engineeringWorking knowledge of PLC, pneumatic and hydraulic systems preferredExperience in a manufacturing production environment preferredMust possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace regarding work matters (our business is generally conducted in English)Ability to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periodsWillingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditionsAbility to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platformsAbility to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standardsAbility to wear such as protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net, gloves, and face masks (when required)Ability to work around high-speed machinery and food allergensEligibilityApplicants must meet a minimum 18-year age qualification.Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE)General Mills is an equal opportunity employer.
