Business Development Manager

Hillman Engineering Inc is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to support our Fort Lauderdale Fl office and drive new ventures in the Florida Region. Hillman Engineering Inc integrates technology-driven solutions with specialty engineering services to improve, protect, and enhance the existing infrastructure of owners directly, and in partnership with designers and contractors. Hillman Engineering Inc offers a range of specialty restoration engineering, structural engineering solutions, project management, and owners representative services. Hillman Engineering Inc works within the commercial market, high rise residential market, and specialty restoration market. Key scopes of work include but are not limited to waterproofing, concrete repair, building envelope encapsulation, and 40-year certification and Milestone inspections. What You'll Own: Market Expansion: Establish strong relationships that lead to new opportunities and closed deals with owners, property management firms, and contractors to grow Hillman Engineering’s regional footprint. Attend trade shows, events and work with Project Mangers networking groups to expand Hillman Engineering’s footprint. Full-Cycle Business Development: Lead every phase of the process-from relationship building, pitch, through proposal. Strategic Collaboration: Shape and execute the vision for sales for south Florida, aligning efforts with company-wide goals while driving revenue and market share. Smart Solutions: Turn complex problems into smart, profitable solutions. Market Engagement: Leverage your well-established network and industry expertise to open doors and build long-term client relationships. Be where it matters-client sites, boardrooms, and industry events. What You Bring: 5+ years of P2P sales experience in construction, engineering, or specialty services in the commercial and high-rise public market. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience Strong communication and active listening skills Self-motivated with a goal-oriented mindset Utilization of technology, AI, social media, and CRM to further company objectives Deep roots in the Southeast commercial / public markets - you know the landscape, the key players, and how to reach them. A proven track record of exceeding marketing goals by creating new strategies Organized self-starter that can work within teams to drive results. Strategic thinking with the ability to influence at the highest levels of the organization.
