X-ray Technician (Allied)

We are seeking a dedicated X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will perform radiologic procedures, ensuring quality imaging and patient safety while adhering to established protocols.

The position requires flexibility in scheduling, with a need to work various shifts, including first and second shifts, as well as weekends and holidays. The potential shifts include:

• 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
• 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
• 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

This position is available in various locations within the city and state.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an education program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited college or equivalent military training.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting is required.
• Current registration as R.T.(R)(ARRT) or registry-eligible with a commitment to become R.T.(R)(ARRT) within 6 months of hire.
• Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Skills:

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in computer systems, including PACS and HIS/RIS.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
