The Restaurant General Manager oversees all aspects of daily operations at a single-location restaurant, ensuring exceptional service and efficient management of a team typically comprising 20-50 employees. Reporting directly to the owner, this role is pivotal to maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead restaurant staff to optimize performance and morale
• Control inventory to minimize waste and ensure adequate stock levels
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve guest issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards
• Maintain quality assurance across all food and service operations
• Create and manage employee schedules effectively
• Train new and existing employees to uphold operational standards

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in restaurant management

• Proven team leadership abilities
• Experience in customer relationship management
• Familiarity with scheduling software
