Charge RN3 - Operating RoomThe Charge RN3 for the Operating Room will be responsible for overseeing nursing staff, ensuring quality patient care, and maintaining efficient operations within the surgical unit. This position requires prior charge nurse experience and a commitment to mentoring and training new hire registered nurses.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate nursing activities in the Operating Room.Provide training and support for new hire registered nurses.Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure high standards of patient care.Participate in patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans.Manage nursing staff schedules and assignments.Utilize robotics technology effectively in surgical procedures.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting.Prior charge or supervisory nurse experience is highly preferred.Must be proficient in robotics and demonstrate competency during evaluation.BLS certification is required.Willingness to float between the Main Operating Room and Outpatient Surgery Center as needed.Schedule4 ten-hour shifts from 0600 to 1630.Possible weekend and holiday shifts may be required.Additional InformationGuaranteed hours may vary based on census levels, with potential for call-in or on-call duty in 4-hour increments.Monthly parking costs are applicable for employees.Locals are accepted; however, pending licenses will not be considered.Maximum of one week of scheduled time off (RTO) is permitted.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Charge RN3 looking to take on leadership responsibilities in a dynamic operating room environment.
