This includes exercising independent nursing judgment in managing the care of patients with complex health problem(s) and collaborating with patient, family and other healthcare providers/disciplines to optimize the patient’s return to health and promote independence in self-care. Supervises and coordinates the work of ancillary healthcare personnel. **RESPONSIBILITIES**:· Develops a written plan of care· Provides safe, therapeutic, cost-effective patient care· Provides direct patient care to an assigned group of patients· Collects, records, and analyzes assessment data such as patient health data **REQUIREMENTS** One year of recent OR nursing experience ACLS and PALS required **ABOUT UW MEDICAL CENTER-NORTHWEST** UW Medical Center is an acute care hospital located in Seattle with two campuses: Montlake and Northwest.
