Position Highlights

• Full-time Hospitalist role within a physician-founded and physician-led private practice group across the Greater Tampa Bay area

• 7 on / 7 off schedule with flex and additional shifts with APP coverage support

• Guaranteed base salary and not focusing on an RVU-tiered model

• Profit sharing structure offering 30 to 40 percent based on tenure and performance

• Efficient patient census management in high-acuity inpatient environment

• Acute care NP team providing day and night coverage and a dedicated nocturnist team supporting overnight operations

Practice Environment

• Physician-owned and physician-led private practice hospitalist group founded in 2018 and among the fastest-growing in the Tampa Bay region

• Group of over 70 providers operating across more than 20 acute care and post-acute facilities throughout Hillsborough and Pinellas County

• Hospitalist physicians cover top-tier acute care hospitals in the region including co-management of complex service lines such as neurology, transplant, and heart failure

• Post-acute coverage includes inpatient rehabilitation, long-term acute care, skilled nursing facilities, and a transitional care clinic

• Physician founder remains clinically active and involved in daily operations, providing direct leadership visibility and accessibility

• Downtown Tampa administrative office supporting operations, with strong medical director leadership and a culture built around quality and facility partnership

Candidate Requirements

• MD or DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine

• Active Florida medical licensure or eligibility to obtain

• Inpatient hospital medicine experience and comfort with high-acuity complex patients preferred

• Experience co-managing complex service lines such as neurology, transplant, or heart failure is a plus

• Team-oriented, quality-driven mindset aligned with a group that takes facility relationships seriously

• Strong communication skills and commitment to exceeding the expectations of facility partners and patients alike

• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship and not a PRN, part-time, or locums opportunity - and not considering 2027 resident candidates until closer to graduation due to more current needs
