Job Description
The individual will do home watch inspections and provide detailed reports regarding a home visit. The home watch inspection is a visual inspection of the house premises, inside and outside looking for obvious issues.
The position requires to complete a training program and become certified as a Certified Home Watch Professional. All training and materials will be provided. Work is outdoor and indoors.
Prefer an individual local to Lakewood Ranch.
Ideal for retiree or semi-retired person.
Responsibilities
- Perform interior and exterior home inspections to identify visible issues.
- Photograph the property, including the home, pool, landscaping, and other structures.
- Inspect electrical panels, HVAC systems, internet connections, and major appliances.
- Check plumbing fixtures for leaks and inspect ceilings, floors, and windows for water damage, mold, or pests.
- Verify all doors and windows are secure and test garage door openers.
- Operate the main water shut-off valve and arm/disarm security systems as needed.
- Check mail and communicate with clients regarding any concerns.
- Ensure the pool and equipment are clean, safe, and functioning properly.
- Complete detailed online inspection reports with photos and notify clients of any issues.
- Support high standards of client service and continuous operational improvement.
Must have/be:
· Minimum - High School diploma.
· Clean driver’s license.
· Reliable transportation to and from work.
· Great attitude and works well with others.
· Experience with DIY handyman projects and home care.
