We are seeking a Technical PM / Scrum Master who is passionate about getting things done quickly, efficiently, and who has a vast experience of supporting complex projects and programs. As a Technical Project Manager, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary software projects utilizing your E2E project delivery expertise. You will collaborate with external clients to understand the problem/opportunity space, define requirements, and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This person must enjoy delivering initiatives and solving complex problems that help accomplish business objectives in innovative ways, and balance stakeholder and team member expectations without being dogmatic in their approach. Job Duties

• Visualize data and information through the creation of reports and queries using Microsoft’s technology stack.
• Design and develop Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards.
• Design data architecture structures necessary to support BI initiatives.
• Develop and manage data integrations using SSIS and Azure Data Factory and other technologies as needed.
• Optimize Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports with a focus on usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization.
• Create and administer App Workspaces to control permissions and access to PBI dashboard.
• Partner with IT and the Business to source necessary data, map source data to target structures, and define query methods.
• Ensure all reports and dashboards meet data accuracy, query performance, usability, and functionality requirements.
• Create technical and maintenance documentation as needed.
• Communicate effectively with both business, technical stakeholders as well as leadership.

Job Requirements

• 4+ years of Technical Project Management experience
• Works down in the details with the technical team to deliver on technical project.
• Has to know enough technical chops to push back as needed with the technical team.
• 3+ years of Scrum Master experience
• 5+ years of software industry experience, including systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management experience
• Servant Leader with hands-on experience collaborating with stakeholders at varied levels
• Experience managing highly technical complex projects with team members that are globally disbursed.
• Deep understanding of project management methodologies (Agile and waterfall) with real-life application.
• Proven ability to influence without authority.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Proved multi-tasking ability and problem-solving skills
• Experience using JIRA, queries, story mapping, bulk updates
• Experience with Jira or similar tools

Desired Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of the Microsoft technology stack (Azure SQL Server Integration Services, Analysis Services, Tabular Reporting Services etc.)
• Hands on experience on Azure Cloud (PaaS/IaaS) Technology
• Familiarity with the AWS Database and Analytics platform
• Knowledge of C# and JavaScript a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate with business and technical resources, strong interpersonal skills, and superior organizational skills are required
• Strong understanding of software development and implementation lifecycle, including Agile methods
