Job Title: Oncology RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Chemo Certified Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required License: Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS, Oncology Certified (ONCC or ONS) required Must-Have: - Previous oncology/infusion outpatient experience required - Familiarity with Alaris Infusion Pumps and CADD Ambulatory Pumps is essential - First-time travelers accepted - No weekend shifts required Description: We are seeking an Oncology RN to join our team. This position involves performing six infusions plus one to two port draws daily. Registered Nurses should be proficient in chemotherapy administration. The clinic environment is supportive, with a management team that values travelers as integral team members. Recognition and award recommendations for travelers are common. The position requires experience in administering and monitoring chemotherapy and managing ports and central lines. Candidates should have the ability to manage various patient conditions, including acute tumor lysis syndrome, anaphylaxis, and complications related to chemotherapy. The role includes caring for adult and geriatric patients, with an average daily census of six infusions. All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state as needed. Travelers’ refusal to float may lead to assignment termination. Additional modules prior to start and annually are required for compliance purposes.
