Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Kenai, Alaska location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient care in a clinical setting. The role involves venipuncture and capillary techniques across all age groups, with a standard Monday–Friday schedule and occasional weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections using venipuncture and capillary techniques
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
• Enter patient information accurately and process billing transactions
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and maintain specimen logs
• Travel to additional collection sites as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification from accredited agency or completed training program
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• 3+ months phlebotomy experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional customer service orientation
