Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team! As the Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for selecting age-appropriate programs, activities, and curricula for the children in our care. You will also support the current staff, manage scheduling and office supplies, bring positive communication to the team, and implement new strategies to grow and expand our outreach.
Responsibilities
Adhere to ODJFS Child Care licensing rules
Develop lesson plans
Interact with children to support effective learning and socialization
Consistent Communication with parents
Participation in staff and training meetings
Maintain clean and tidy classroom environment
Assist to design an appropriate classroom arrangement in support of learning and developmental goals
Commitment to continuing education
Qualifications
High School Diploma
At least 2 years experience working in a licensed childcare facility
Coursework or a degree in early childhood education or child development or a CDA
Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding child care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of caring and nurturing children in a licensed educational environment
