Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager for an on-site position in Charlotte, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, possibly as a former developer, and will be responsible for managing data and application maintenance projects. This role requires interfacing with multiple teams and presenting project status to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Interface with multiple teams, TPMs, and SMs to gather, understand, and succinctly summarize project status.
• Present project updates to leadership in a clear and concise manner, demonstrating command of the subject area.
• Work with the internal security department to problem-solve and develop solutions.
• Dig into issues, investigate options, and actively help resolve them rather than only reporting status.
• Ensure adherence to established internal processes.
• Manage project administration, tasks, and deliverables.

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills: A strong background in technology is required, with a preference for experience in security. The candidate must be competent with MS Project and have experience with JIRA.

Experience: Must have a background in waterfall or hybrid project management, coupled with a thorough understanding of Agile-Scrum methodologies. Vendor management experience is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Local to Charlotte or a strong prior connection and relocation plan.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or SAFe certifications.
