Step into a pivotal role as a full-time Inclusion EC Teacher working with a small middle school caseload. Key Qualifications:
- Hold active and valid North Carolina certification and licensure as a Special Education Teacher
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in special education practices, with a commitment to inclusion
- Enthusiasm for working with middle school students and supporting diverse learning needs
- Ability to adapt curricular materials and instructional strategies for a variety of learners
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with support staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction in an inclusion setting, ensuring all students access the curriculum with appropriate accommodations
- Manage a small caseload of middle school students, tailoring educational plans to meet each learner’s needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and paraprofessionals to design and implement effective lesson plans
- Develop, review, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), maintaining accurate documentation and compliance
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student engagement, independence, and academic growth
