Medical Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT / MLT / MLS)
Location: Liberal, KS
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Department: Laboratory Services

Position Details:

• Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
• Pay Rate: Starting at $27.10/hour (negotiable based on experience)
• Shift Differentials: Available for evenings, nights, and weekends
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $2,500 with proof of eligible expenses

Available Positions

• Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
• Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
• MLS candidates may also be considered for:
• • Microbiology Lead Technologist
  • Chemistry Lead Technologist

Schedule

Day Shift

• Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

 

Holiday Requirements:

• Two minor holidays annually (Memorial Day and Labor Day)
• One major holiday annually (Christmas, Thanksgiving, or New Year's Day)

Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory testing in:
• • Chemistry
  • Hematology
  • Serology
  • Urinalysis
  • Coagulation
  • Blood Bank
  • Molecular Diagnostics
  • Microbiology
• Collect patient specimens, including phlebotomy duties
• Maintain quality control and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to support patient care

Qualifications

Required

• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
• Phlebotomy experience
• Eligible to work as an MLT or MLS

Float Requirements

• All laboratory technologists are cross-trained to assist with night shift coverage on rare occasions as needed.
