Responsibilities:\n

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team at Maternal-Fetal Medicine Specialists of Puget Sound , part of Pediatrix Medical Group .

\n

\n

This role will rotate between our three clinical sites, including Swedish Medical Center - First Hill (Seattle) where we provide full-care MFM services, as well as our consultation-based practices at Providence Everett Medical Center and our Issaquah Pediatrix MFM Clinic.

High Acuity Patient Population

\n

\n
• NPs are embedded as mid-levels in all of our MFM clinics (Swedish First Hill, Issaquah and Providence Everett) to see follow-up consults, handle referrals, address labs and assist with care coordination.
\n
• Swedish First Hill: Flagship hospital, overseeing about 7500 deliveries annually, with a high-acuity level IV NICU . NPs will provide prenatal and postpartum care as well as inpatient care by rounding on postpartum or post-op patients

Key Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Cover practices in Everett and Issaquah , ensuring patient continuity, providing follow-up consultations, referral triage, and antenatal testing.
\n
• Manage patients referred for hypertension, diabetes, medical complications, fetal anomalies, and other complications.
\n
• Conduct triage visits , wound care, and round on postpartum patients at Swedish First Hill
\n
• No labor and delivery management or inpatient procedures
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Ob/Gyn residency program, family practice residency, OB fellowship program, and 24/7 OB Hospitalists.
\n

Ideal Schedule with Work-Life Balance Focus

• Most weekends off per week, working days only!
\n
• 1 out of 5 weekend, daytime inpatient rounding and lab duties (typically half days).
\n
• No patient calls on weekends ---mostly lab or rounding
\n
• No night call
\n

\n

The Ideal Candidate:

\n

\n
• Has a strong background in OB care with an interest in high-risk and critical care .
\n
• Able to work independently and collaborate without extensive support
\n
• Experienced with prenatal diagnosis, interpretation of ultrasound reports, and managing complicated pregnancies is a plus.
\n
• Possesses strong Communication Skills and Empathy.
\n
• Values an attention to Detail and Critical Thinking .

Qualifications:\n

• Board Certification as a WHNP or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

• Experience in L&D or high-risk OB required outside of clinical rotations (RN experience ok)
\n
• WA State Licensure (active or in process) and Prescriptive Authority.

Benefits and Compensation:\n

Pay Range (Base Pay) : $147,000 - $180,000

\n

Other Types of Pay :

Regular full-time is classified as team members who are consistently scheduled and work 30 hours or more on a weekly basis. Regular full-time team members are eligible for the following:
